Steadfast MVIC opens public motor vehicle inspection center for residents of Manila

Manila, Philippines (Jun 23, 2021) – According to 2020 road accident statistics in Metro Manila, thousands of road accidents occur in the Philippines each year, with around 31,811 recorded until August 2020 in the NCR alone. This newly opened Motor Vehicle Inspection Center (MVIC) is one of the accredited MVICs in the Philippines, both by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and the Department of Transportation (DOTr). This facility boasts of equipped employees and is committed to providing a valid and reliable vehicle rating.

State-of-the-art MVIC installation

Thanks to MVICs, private and public vehicles are inspected by automated machines to significantly reduce road accidents caused by faulty automotive components. These centers are in strict accordance with the Motor Vehicle Inspection System (MVIS), the standard inspection method which is guaranteed to be systematic and reliable, as the process is carried out by computerization and with limited human intervention.

Steadfast MVIC offers visual inspection and exhaust emissions testing which is mandatory for vehicles before they can register for LTO. It also offers more than 70 assessments for a holistic review, as well as to ensure the technical control and the general state of safety of your vehicle.

Rates are affordable: P600 for light vehicles (car, SUV, jeep, van) and trucks weighing no more than 500 kilograms, while P500 for motorcycles / tricycles / big bikes. All prices are exclusive of VAT and LTO registration is excluded from Steadfast MVIC services.
