Recipients of PM Kisan must complete the eKYC to receive the 11th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under the scheme, income support of £6,000 a year in three equal installments will be given to all land-owning farming families.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PMKISAN) provides annual cash transfers to its beneficiaries in three installments, running from April to July; the second phase is between August and November and the third between December and March.

The program is linked to the Aadhaar details of the farmers. The database contains details of farmers and all family members whose names appear in the land records.

In some of the Northeastern states, land ownership rights are communal and it may not be possible to assess the number of farmer owners. In these states, an alternative implementation mechanism for farmer eligibility will be developed and approved by the Committee of Union Ministers of the Ministry of Development of the North East Region (DoNER), the Ministry of Rural Development (Department of Land Resources), the Union Minister of Agriculture and the Chief Ministers of the States concerned or their ministerial representatives, on the basis of the proposal of the North Eastern States concerned.
